Board Meetings
Learn from the experience of others

End entrepreneurial isolation with a handpicked peer advisory board and reignite your passion for your business. PeerSight's e-Advisory Boards deliver perspective, practical advice, community, and accountability from 7 other small business leaders on your most pressing business issues.

Every three weeks our Boards meet by phone (for two hours) to tackle tough issues like which initiatives to focus on when there's cash for none and how to grow when the fires start faster than you can put them out. Leverage the combined power of your peers in our board  meetings and:

  • Test your ideas before the market does
  • See into your blind spots
  • Set direction and be held accountable
  • Learn from the experiences of others
  • Help others achieve success
Each Board meeting includes the following:
  • Warm up (approximately 15 minutes) where each member has a chance to share recent wins and successes.
  • Priority issues (approximately 45 minutes) where members seek each other's advice on their most pressing issues.
  • Quarterly review (approximately 1 hour) where two members a month are given the opportunity to tap the group’s collective wisdom, refine and revise strategies, define  accountabilities, present results and assess performance

Online Tools / Single  Page Dashboard
Monitor your progress

Online tools currently include our single page dashboard and opportunity log. Each of our tools utilize an easy to use question and answer template to assist in their creation, update and use.

The single page dashboard (updated quarterly) is used in the board meeting to provide you and your board members a quick but solid understanding of your business objectives, current performance, strengths and weaknesses, and the 90 day actions you are taking to grow your business.

The opportunity log is designed to help each member organize their thoughts and present issues in a way that helps your Board assist you to select the "best" solution.

Subject Matter Experts
Interact with the experts on issues of the day

Each quarter (and in some cases more often) our members benefit from an interactive webinar series on an issue of high importance to small businesses. We recruit subject matter experts and provide the series at no cost to members. The format may vary from quarter to quarter and can include webinars, video conferences, conference calls, and town hall meetings.

Individual One on One Advice
Improve your focus

One on one advisory / coaching services are available on a quarterly basis. Their value is realized in several ways:

  • They act as a sounding board to assist in the initial development and quarterly update of your single page dashboard
  • They support you as you revisit your strategic focus, align your 90 day objectives, and improve your leadership focus.
  • They ensure that you are bringing the "right" issues to the board. Thiose that will have the greatest impact to the growth of your business.
  • From time to time a board member may wish to work on issues where only one on one professional business coaching is appropriate....for instance, issues of leadership development and individual focus. One of the key criteria used in the selection of our facilitators is their certification and experience as a small business coach.
